Let's hope this story serves as a wake up call to the careless owners who think it is ok to leave their dogs tied up outside stores. You wouldn't leave your children on the sidewalk. Why? Because it isn't safe.. same for the dogs.. these thefts happen all the time with a variety of motives sometimes to sell the dog or collect a ransom or far far worse. yes Fleefus is one lucky dog as any number of horrific fates could have met him.
