I have been asked to run for a third time for the Board of Directors at the Toronto Real Estate Board. Why do it? I feel that I have received many benefits from the business over the past 30 years and it is always time to give back. I know that organized Real Estate moves slow, as it should, but also needs people to bring it along faster in areas of Technology and the changes that REALTORS face in their daily lives and out on the streets of the GTA.
Here is my Bio:
I am a Sales Representative with Sotheby’s International Realty Canada Ltd and have been a member of the Toronto Real Estate Board and an active REALTOR® for almost 30 years. I love teaching about technology and have adopted it and Social Media into my real estate business. I am presently serving my second year of a second two year term as Director-at-Large of the Toronto Real Estate Board. I enjoy sitting on the MLS & Technology Council at the Canadian Real Estate Association and will be completing my 2nd year as a REALTOR® Governor of the REALTORS Care Foundation of Ontario.
I now and have previously chaired the MLS Committee at TREB as well as the Communications Committee.
My focus at the Board of Directors table has been as a ‘Street Savvy REALTOR’ with a common-sense perspective working to make TREB services the best for the membership at the most economical cost, constantly moving forward.
