Toronto Coffee and Tea Expo

Are you more of a coffee or tea lover? At the Toronto Coffee and Tea Expo, it doesn’t matter which one you prefer. Both artisanal teas and amazing new beans will be available for you to taste. Baristas will share their secret tips, emerging trends and samples of their work. Visit one of the 50 local vendors or indie cafés around to enjoy the fun, participate in coffee and tea workshops and simply taste the best brews Toronto has to offer.
GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon
Running season is here and Toronto is starting with a bang. Come join more than 15 000 runners in Toronto Marathon and experience the city on foot in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Marathon will begin at Mel Lastman Square in North York and the course runs through many of the City’s great neighbourhoods, ending at Ontario Place. As a bonus, this event is the local Boston qualifier. If you are not quite marathoner yet, you can try the half marathon, 10K or 5K run or walk, depending on your skill.
STAR WARS: The Force Awakens – in concert

Experience the melodies that accompany Rey and Finn in their journey in The Force Awakens with Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Yet another movie-inspired concert will be literally star-inspired, as you will travel through galaxies with the score from John Williams.

Carassauga is Mississauga’s festival of cultures and the biggest Canadian multi-cultural festival. Community groups are given the space to promote public awareness, showcase their cultural heritage, appreciation and respect for each other. Doors Open Toronto

Toronto is celebrating 20 years of their Doors Open event this year, opening doors to see inside some of Toronto’s most architecturally, historically and culturally significant buildings. This year’s theme is “20 something”, in honour of the anniversary and hope for another successful 20 years running. A full schedule of activities will be available on May 1.
