The Big Museum Hunt

Hop over to the museum for an “eggciting” Easter egg hunt and be on the lookout for the “Golden Egg.” Enjoy carpet bowling, crafts, floral shortbread cookies and refreshing lemonade from the historic kitchen. Scarborough Museum is one of 10 Toronto History Museums which explore where Toronto’s many pasts, presents and futures meet. The museum interprets the development of Scarborough from its founding and early settlement to its growth and emergence as a major suburb in the 20th century

Enjoy the environmental education workshop with StreetARToronto and the David Suzuki Foundation.
Take in one of the hourly tours of the StART exhibit and learn about climate action and the importance of biodiversity in urban areas. Make a seed bomb and don’t leave the gallery without contributing to its mural.
The Market Gallery is one of 10 Toronto History Museums which explore where Toronto’s many pasts, presents and futures meet. It encloses all that remains of Toronto’s original 19th-century Front Street City Hall council chamber, operating from 1845-1899. The historic site presents a variety of changing exhibits related to the art, culture and history of Toronto.
Toronto Life’s Best Restaurants

Earth Day Seed Bombs
When: April 22, 2020
Where: Gardiner Museum
Celebrate Earth Day at the Museum by joining us in a free, family-friendly earth ball-making workshop inspired by the special exhibition RAW. A common guerilla gardening technique, participants will be invited to mix seed, clay, compost, and water into small earth balls (aka seed bombs), meant to be tossed to spread flowers around our city.
Can You Do Lunch? 2020

The Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research will unite business and philanthropic leaders for a luncheon in support of ending HIV in Canada at its annual fundraiser, Can You Do Lunch? Presented by Birks, this year’s luncheon will be chaired by Jean-Christophe Bédos of Birks Group Inc., and Jeanne Beker, with the theme Celebrating our Creative Community.
The event will feature a discussion with co-host Jeanne Beker and guest speaker Billy Newton Davis, followed by a presentation of three CANFAR Achievement in the Arts awards.
